Marcus joined us from the federal privacy commissioner's office where he got real tired of watching companies scramble after data breaches. He's a CIPP/C certified privacy pro who actually reads PIPEDA updates for fun (we're worried about him, honestly). He built our entire cybersecurity compliance practice and has this weird gift for making GDPR sound almost interesting. Clients love him 'cause he tells them what they need to hear, not what they wanna hear.
Priya Sharma
Priya's our contract wizard. She spent years as in-house counsel for a major software company, so she's seen every licensing nightmare you can imagine. She's drafted more SaaS agreements than most people have had hot meals, and she's got this knack for spotting the clauses that'll bite you six months down the road. Fun fact: she once rewrote an entire vendor agreement during a flight delay and saved the client $200K in hidden fees. That's just how she rolls.
David Kowalski
When things go sideways, David's your guy. He's handled IP litigation from cease-and-desist letters all the way up to Federal Court appeals. Before law, he was actually a software developer for eight years, which means he can talk to expert witnesses in their own language and spot BS technical arguments from a mile away. He's won cases that other lawyers said were unwinnable, mostly 'cause he out-techs the other side's experts. Doesn't hurt that he's also just really good at oral arguments.
Aisha Mwangi
Aisha's the newest member but don't let that fool you - she came to us from a boutique entertainment law firm where she worked with digital content creators and streaming platforms. She gets the creator economy in ways that traditional lawyers just don't, and she's helped tons of YouTubers, podcasters, and digital artists protect their work without getting ripped off. She's also our go-to for anything involving NFTs, blockchain IP issues, or basically any tech that didn't exist five years ago.
